In 2024, three students achieved the perfect score of 20 out of 20 points, and 44 students earned admission to public universities on national merit — a remarkable achievement that reflects the dedication of both our students and teachers.
In 2025, we raised the bar even further. Eighteen students scored 20 out of 20, and 43 students secured government-sponsored university admissions on national merit. These results confirm our position as one of Uganda's leading academic institutions.
In 2023, Amus College School was ranked 3rd in Uganda, a testament to the commitment and passion of our students, teachers, and support staff. That year, 146 Senior Four candidates and 200 Senior Six candidates sat their UNEB examinations successfully.

Amus College School has been a force to be reckoned with in Music, Dance, and Drama (MDD) competitions. Since 2017, we have won the Teso Secondary Schools MDD Competition every single year — a streak of dominance that continues to this day.
At the national level, we have achieved 3rd place nationally for three consecutive years: in 2023 (held in Arua), 2024 (held in Jinja), and 2025 (held in Wakiso, Buddo). Our performers bring passion, creativity, and cultural pride to every stage they step on.
In 2025, the ACS Chapel Choir finished 3rd at the International Hymn Festival, hosted at the prestigious ACK Mombasa Memorial Cathedral in Kenya — bringing international recognition to our school's musical talent.

The Amus College School Scout Club has earned a reputation for excellence that extends far beyond the classroom. Through hands-on initiatives such as tree planting, our scouts have established a thriving mango farm right here on school grounds — a living example of sustainability in action.
Our scouts have represented the district at the national level from 2023 through to 2024, and in 2024 they won the prestigious Sustainability Award at the Kaazi National Scout Camping and Training Ground — one of Uganda's most competitive scouting events.
Our students are equally formidable in intellectual competition — from regional debates to national championships.
Our debate team rose above 12 competing schools at the Eastern Region Championship, defeating host school Soroti Secondary School with a perfect 5-0 unanimous decision.
Odele Francis represented the school in the public speech category at the NDC Debate Championship, held at the prestigious King's College Budo — one of Uganda's most celebrated academic stages.
Our students' knowledge of scripture placed the school proudly at runners-up position in a national Bible quiz, demonstrating dedication, preparation, and intellectual depth.
