🏆 East African Champions — FEASSA 2024
In 2024, Amus College School was crowned East African Champions in Boys' Football at the FEASSA (Federation of East African Secondary Schools Sports Associations) Games — an event we had the honour of hosting right here on our grounds. We defeated St. Mary's Kitende 1-0 in a memorable final, showcasing exceptional talent and teamwork. In the same year, our boys reached another national final, narrowly losing to St. Julian in Masaka.
Competing at the World Level
Our boys' team represented Uganda at the International Schools Championship in China (2024), where they drew 2–2 with the host nation in normal time before losing on penalties — a courageous performance on the world stage. Our girls' team also represented Uganda, reaching the semi-finals of the same competition.
Girls' Football Glory
In 2023, our girls' football team won the National Trophy in Mbarara, defeating St. Noa Girls 1–0. The winning goal was scored by Shalyne Opisa — a moment the entire school community will never forget.
Amus College School also fields a team in the Finance Trust Bank FUFA Women Super League. In 2025, the team won the Uganda Cup with a 1–0 victory over Kawempe Muslim at Philip MTN Omondi Stadium — bringing national glory home to Bukedea.
